Is Revival Powder the same as dip powder?

No. Dip uses a resin glue with an activator. Revival Powder cures into the gel under UV, which forms a more durable layer. It resists free edge wear and holds shape where dip chips and rounds off.

How is this different from polygel or acrygel in a tube?

Tube products come pre-mixed to a putty, so the particle content is fixed. Revival Powder sprinkles into the gel, so you control how much reinforcement goes where, and you add a coat when the nail needs more.

Why does this work on flexible nails when other systems fail?

The cured layer is a composite. Acrylic particles create rigid points throughout the gel that resist over-flexing, while the gel between them lets the layer move with the nail. Stress spreads across the particle network instead of concentrating at one bend line, which is what causes pocket lifting.

Does Revival Powder prevent pocket lifting?

It addresses the cause. Pocket lifting happens when the nail flexes more than the product. The particle-reinforced layer is rigid enough to limit the over-flex and forgiving enough to move with the nail, so there is no single point for the bond to separate from.

Do I use Revival Powder for soak-off or for infills?

Reinforcement and overlay. It reinforces thin, flexible, lift-prone natural nails. It is not built for long sculpted extensions. Use hard gel for length.

How long does a gel powder manicure last?

The product lasts until the next fill. The system itself does not break down. Fills are scheduled every three to five weeks because nail growth shifts the cured product toward the free edge. That forward weight creates leverage at the cuticle area, which causes lifting at the base of the nail. Infills rebalance the enhancement. Slow growers can go longer.

Does this system cause heat spikes during curing?

When applied in thin layers, heat spikes should not occur. Keep each pass thin and flash cure between passes for heat-sensitive clients. Sensitivity varies with nail thickness and porosity.

How do you remove gel powder nails?

It depends on the service. A soak-off service with Re-Cover removes by filing off most of the product, soaking in acetone 10 to 15 minutes, and pushing off the softened product with an orangewood stick. An infill service with Re-Cover Plus is non-soak-off and is maintained by filing and rebalancing at fill appointments.

Can I keep it thin or do I have to build it up?

Your call. Keep it thin for a natural overlay or add coats for more reinforcement on weaker nails.

Is Revival Powder HEMA free?

Yes. Revival Powder is HEMA-free and TPO-free. Removing HEMA is not a safety guarantee. Allergic sensitization can happen with any methacrylate when uncured product touches skin or when the product is not properly cured. We label HEMA-free as a fact, not a safety claim.

Do I need a special lamp for Revival Powder?

Revival Powder is formulated and tested for proper cure under the Pro Arch Rival Nail Lamp. We cannot confirm proper cure with other lamps because we have not tested against them. Proper cure depends on the lamp's diode count, diode quality, and actual output, not the wattage printed on the box. The Pro Arch Rival Nail Lamp runs 53 diodes at 30W. Every cure time is based on that lamp.

How do I prevent Revival Powder from lifting?

Lifting traces back to skipped or incomplete prep, oil or moisture on the nail plate, skin contact during application, undercured product, or pairing the powder with a gel it is not built for. Run through prep and cure first when troubleshooting, and use the Arch Rival adhesion system with the Pro Arch Rival Nail Lamp end to end.

How do I store Revival Powder?

Room temperature, out of direct sunlight. UV exposure breaks down photoinitiators in the gel and shortens shelf life.

Is Revival Powder vegan and cruelty-free?
